QUESTIONS FOR “GAY WARRIOR”
1. Why use the term, Warrior, to define an initiated man?
We chose the term, Warrior, intentionally because of the image it evokes. We do not see a Warrior as someone who is war-like or violent; that would more accurately decribe a soldier. In contrast, the Warrior is a man who is courageous, wise, resilient, powerful and fierce when necessary, in defending himself, his beliefs and those he loves. As well , he is a man who has learned , through enormous work, to transform his suffering into wisdom.
